Some folks ask, “Where did the trend of matadors street-fighting cars begin?”  At the risk of sounding not-so-humble, let me say this: it started with us.  Many years ago, my friend, Aleco Bravo, and I filmed the chance encounter between him and a Mustang GT, in an alley.  It was the genesis of the Street Matador phenomenon.  What happened after that?  Well, after our video came out, certain super-car manufacturers (esp. the one that uses bulls in its marketing) started making similar vids (with slightly bigger budgets).  And that’s a good thing.  After all, they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.  And imitation by the manufacturer of a $250,000 super-car is somehow even sincerer.
